FOLLOW GUIDELINE PROPERLY TO AVOID REJECTION
- The concerned person has to sign on white paper with Black Ink pen only.
- The signature will be used to put on all the corresponding forms as well as the Certificate for Registration of Marriage.
- For scanning, the signature should be scanned in image format.
- Set the scanner resolution to a minimum of 200 dpi (dots per inch) and color to True Color before scanning.
- While scanning, make sure that the page containing the signature is placed properly on the scanner such that the signature is visible clearly.
- After scanning, crop the scanned image to the edge of the signature.
- The dimensions of the signature shall be 5cm width by 2cm height (189px width by 76px height).
- Select only .JPG, .JPEG or .PNG files.
- Maximum filesize should be with in 20KB
- Resize your file in a way to maintain legibility
- In case the signature is unclear, the concerned person may reupload his signature prior to submission.
People using MS Windows/MS Office can easily obtain signature in .JPEG, .JPG or .PNG format by using MS Paint or MS Office Picture Manager. Scanned signature in any format can be saved
in .JPEG, .JPG or .PNG format by using ‘Save As’ option in the File menu. By using crop and then resize option in the ‘Image’ menu the image can be cropped to the edge of the signature. Similar options
are available in other photo editors also.
